Preparing 1207
(click on the picutres to get a larger version)
This is the barn where 1207 is currently stored. Today is the day for
theory training for our new motormen, so we've bused down to the barn.
Until we got the overhead up, if we needed to move the care we only
had one choice.
BC Transit was good enough to donate the use of two line trucks to
help get the wire up, and four BC Transit linemen volunteered to
string it.

It was a wet and cold day, and the ground was soft. We ran into a bit
of trouble and the truck slid off the soft gravle. It took three tow
trucks to pull it out.
Here's the tireless crew that spent 13 hours putting up the wire
(minus Dale Laird who's taking the picture).
