Vancouver Trolley Bus 50th Anniversary Tour

Here we are at Oakridge Transit Centre preparing to depart for an evening of transit history. Our vehicles are CCF T-44 Brill 2040, CCF T-48 Brill 2416, and Flyer E902 2925

Here's the interior of 2040 as we depart OTC

Our first stop was at the Northbound on ramp to the Ganville street bridge. We made this little stop while we waited for Derek to catch up in 2416.

Our first photo stop is the corner of Davie and Denman, the terminus of the 5 Robson and 6 Davie.

Next stop, Kootney Loop, terminus of the 10 Hastings and the discontinued 34 Hastings Express, one of the only express trolley routes in North America!

Heading west again, we make a stop at Broadway Station, intersection of the route

After a dinner break, we head for Blanca Loop. This was the terminus of the 4 Forth and 10 Tenth for many years until they were extended to UBC.

Finally, we head for UBC, one of the newest extension in the Vancouver trolley system. (openned in 1988) This loop is the terminus for the 4 UBC, 10 UBC, and 9 UBC.
